History
Busch first poured in 1955, when Anheuser-Busch introduced it as Busch Bavarian Beer to capture the crisp, clean spirit of the Bavarian Alps. Those snowy mountain peaks on your can are a nod to that original look. Around 1979, the company dropped the “Bavarian” from the name and simply called it Busch, so your can captures the brand right at that turning point.
An easy-drinking, value-priced lager from the start, Busch became one of Anheuser-Busch’s enduring staples and is still a go-to today.
A note: Pull Tab Candle Co. is an independent small business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Busch Bavarian Beer or its parent companies. Every can we use is a genuine vintage original, sourced one at a time from collectors and estate sales, then cleaned and hand-poured here in Minneapolis.
